Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.1484), since 1 January 2009, employment at the cabinets and laboratories of public health institutions that conduct research (estimations) on AIDS and HIV-infection among the public, and in the specialized tuberculosis and mental medical and social expert commissions will be included into the record service for calculation of pensions. The Bill also extends the effect of the article to the pensioners that were employed at the said institutions and retired before 15 August 2003.
Though the Committee members called for enhancement of social protection of several categories of medical workers, they introduced a number of motions to the Bill.
